Festival For Humanity, a 4-day music and art festival will be taking place during this Memorial Day Weekend in Vernon, NJ (May 27th-May 30th). 33% of all proceeds will go directly to the Kristin Brooks Hope Center (1-800-Suicide) and an additional 10% of all Net Ticket Sales to the charities of Humanity Village.

Upon entering the festival, you will have to walk through Humanity Village where all the non-profits will have tents. In addition, QPR Trainings for suicide prevention will occur throughout the 4 day festival at no cost to the trainee. Oxfam, Peta, The American Red Cross, YMCA, Feeding America, Vet2vet, Cop2Cop, Music for Humanity, DALI, To Write Love on Her Arms, Farm Aid Member Regional Growers led by Abundant Life Farm’s Linda Borghi and a long list of others will be joining in support with a focus on health and nutrition as a foundation for strong mental health. With weekend attendance expected to reach 25,000 to 30,000 people, we are confident that the awareness, outreach and fund raising achieved through the festival will set a new standard for a “first of its kind” event.

For local, national and international artists, they can find more information on submitting their work here. The Festival for Humanity invites visual artists to submit and donate work to The Humanity Walls Project. This will be a mural of more than 240,000 square feet and participating artists are invited to paint in advance of the event weekend (shipping covered entirely), during the weekend events or may be given the opportunity to paint on our recycled cloroplast if attendance is not an option.
