Today’s song is “Run My Way” by Harrison Hudson. This song is off the band’s album American Thunder. This is their third album with Favorite Gentlemen Recordings from the Nashville trio. To fund the project the band put together a successful kickstarter campaign. The band worked hard to treat the kickstarter campaign as more of a pre-sale than anything with a wide range of funding levels and rewards available. Digital downloads, exclusive music, signed CDs, Vinyl, exclusive T-shirts, handwritten lyrics books and personal webcast performances are some of the rewards available to fans that contributed. This song has a great 60’s influence with that Phil Spector wall of sound featuring big band instruments and female back up singers. It’s an exciting rush of an old time feel on a new sound.
