Today’s song is “Wolves” by The Good Natured. This is the recently released single by the 20-year-old frontwoman, Londer Sarah McIntosh. The song was produced by the band and Patrik Berger, known for his work with Robyn.
Says McIntosh of “Wolves:” “In every society, we find people who are bored with their daily routines, getting up, going to work, and coming home again. ‘Wolves’ is about escapism, leaving the mundane normality of everyday life and entering a new world, whether it be a fantasy or a reality.
“Wolves” will also be added as a bonus track to the Be My Animal EP, out earlier this week through all digital mediums, and coincides with the trio’s debut this month at SxSW music fest in Austin, TX. The EP is made up of recordings when songwriter/ frontwoman McIntosh was still in her teens. The Good Natured’s realistic love songs have been praised by the likes of The Sunday Times, NME and Q magazine and championed by BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 and XFM, among others. Comparisons include La Roux, Kate Bush, Bat for Lashes and Florence and the Machine.
