The indie rock band, Those Dancing Days, sophomore album Daydreams and Nightmares is sure to catch the attention of girls and guys around the country. The songs range from sugar pop to punk and then back again. I can definitely see little girls rocking out with their air guitar to “Fuckarias,” and you can’t help but tap your foot while listening to the fast paced “Keep Me in Your Pocket.”
Each song on the album has it’s own tone yet flow together seamlessly. The five women from Stockholm, Sweden are all between the ages of 20-22 but their lyrics and love and life are relatable to all. Last month they premiered the video for their first single, “I’ll be Yours,” which has more pop than a bottle of soda. The lyrics and melody are sure to be stuck in your head for hours after.
Basically, Daydreams and Nightmares is a feel good album sure to leave you with a smile when it’s done.
