Song of the Day: “1939” by Tin Horn Prayer


Today’s song is “1939” by Tin Horn Prayer. Tin Horn Prayer are currently on a ten-day tour of the West Coast and Southwest in support of its new full-length, Get Busy Dying. The band features ex-members of The Blackout Pact, Only Thunder, Ghost Buffalo, Love Me Destroyer and Pinhead Circus. The Denver, Colorado band’s debut effort is now available on both vinyl and digital formats from Bermuda Mohawk Productions. The recently released LP version of the record – which features sweet black-on-black UV jackets – can be purchased from the label here or you can grab a copy from the band on tour.

Get Busy Dying is currently streaming in its entirety at Punknews.org and Bandcamp.

Additionally, Bermuda Mohawk recently celebrated its 50th release with a free digital comp featuring 27 songs from Cheap Girls, One Win Choice, imadethismistake, Carpenter and Mixtapes amongst others. Tin Horn Prayer kicks off the sampler with the track “Better Living.” Download all the goodness here.

Tin Horn Prayer just finished recording four new songs at Black In Bluhm Music with Chris Fogal of The Gamits. Fogal also recorded and produced Get Busy Dying.
