With just weeks to go until the eagerly awaited release of Bright Eyes’ seventh studio album, The People’s Key (out February 15th on Saddle Creek), the celebrated Nebraskan band have added further dates to what will be their first US tour in over three years. The first leg of the tour has now confirmed label mates Cursive (March 3rd – March 10th excluding Radio City Music Hall shows) and Mynabirds (March 11th – March 17th) as support.
Since 2006 the once revolving cast of Bright Eyes players has settled around permanent members Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott with an array of talented musicians joining them in the studio and on tour. The 7-piece band will be kicking off this tour in Miami in March before taking in the South, the East Coast, the Midwest, Texas, Canada and the West Coast.
