The Dig Going On Tour and at The Bamboozle This Sunday!


New York City’s The Dig will hit the road again this weekend for two festival performances, followed by a week long support tour with The Joy Formidable. This Friday, April 30th, the band will head upstate to perform at the inaugural Truck America Festival at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY, before coming back home on Saturday May 1st to play a sold-out show at the Mercury Lounge with The Joy Formidable. On Sunday May 2nd, The Dig will play The Bamboozle festival at The Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ, and then embark on their stint opening for The Joy Formidable in the northeast and Canada.

The Dig, who wrapped up a month-long tour supporting Portugal. The Man and Port O’Brien in late March, will release their debut album Electric Toys on June 8th. Album track “You’re Already Gone” was recently selected as AOL Music’s Spinner blog’s Free MP3 of the Day, while “Carry Me Home” was featured on NBC’s show Trauma and “Look Inside” on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries.
