With their sexy, swinging funk and rock rhythms, you will find yourself wanting a Redlight Romance. The Erie, Pennsylvania quintet made up of Joe Hunt (vocals), Sean Andrzejewski (guitar), Dustin Wilkinson (Bass), Jonny Miller (keys), and Bobby Williams (drums) has music will make you move and groove.
While the guys have been playing music together off and on for the better part of the last decade, it was in late 2007 that they came together as Redlight Romance. 2009, saw the self-release of their album Nocturnal which was honored as Best CD of 2009 by RockErie.com. In addition the track “Bonnie Parker” was chosen as the #1 MP3 of 2009 by IndieMusic.com. This year the band has been selected to showcase the 2010 Sardonyx Music Conference in Pittsburgh, PA May 8 and were chosen to play the Muddy River Jam Fest in the Philadelphia area in August.
One song in on their MySpace player and I was hooked. Salacious and animated, this music is alive with passion both musically and lyrically. Joe Hunt’s alluring vocals deliver seductive lyrics that compliment a boast of popping basslines and fiesty guitar riffs.
