This week, Sonicbids launched a tour sponsorship program.
Bands on the road to and playing SXSW will be able to send video of their experiences to http://www.sonicbids.com/sonicsx.
There, they’ll be judged, and one will receive a $4,000, four-city tour sponsorship from Sonicbids

“We’ve helped thousands of bands get showcases at South By Southwest over the last three years. This year, we want to increase our support of bands playing the conference by giving them another career-building opportunity and the means to do it.” said Sonicbids Founder Panos Panay.

Additionally, Sonicbids is paying for travel expenses for nine bands from five countries, to help them get to Austin and play the conference this year.
More than 650 bands around the world used Sonicbids to apply for and secure official showcases at SXSW this year
