CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival 2010, New York’s largest music event and one of the world’s most important showcases for new music artists, today announced an exclusive partnership with Six Flags for this year’s festival. CMJ welcomes over 12,000 professionals from all sectors of the music business and over 120,000 music fans, all of whom converge on New York to discover over 1,300 of the world’s best new artists.
CMJ Music Marathon 2010 takes place from Tuesday, October 19 to Saturday, October 23, 2010 in downtown Manhattan featuring more bands, panels and special events than ever before. CMJ’s daytime festivities will once again be headquartered at New York University’s Greenwich Village campus. At night, CMJ Music Marathon takes over 75 premier clubs and music venues throughout New York City, featuring performances by the best new artists from the worlds of indie, rock, electronica, hip-hop, metal, Americana, pop, world and jazz.
