
Florham Park, NJ’s Solfege Radio is one band not to be missed.
The band consists of 17-year-old Marco Torriani (vocals), 16-year-old Connor Wilson (bass/vocals), brothers Jon (guitar/vocals 18) and Matt Stolpe (drums -14), and 17-year-old Joey Nester (guitar/vocals).
The quintet gained notoriety and industry attention after winning the preliminary rounds of the Jersey Shows 9th Annual Battle of the Bands. In March 2009 they landed a deal with Danimal Records and recorded two singles “Eleven” and “New Jersey In Denial.”
Rock outfit Solfege Radio has a talent beyond their years. Their music fuses upbeat punk rock tempos with light-hearted pop melodies. This musical combination along with their young and carefree lyrics boasted so eloquently by lead vocalist Torriani, is sure to be a hit.
