This week’s unsigned artist is Minneapolis band Take Cover. The pop/rock quartet is composed of Ryan Wickard (vocals), Chad Snell (bass), Brady Trudueau (guitar/vocals), and Odin Trice (guitar/vocals).
Earlier this year I saw the band play an acoustic set at Angel & Kings in NYC’s East Village. The mix of heartfelt lyrics along with Ryan Wickard’s amazing vocals was riveting. I can only imagine how good they sound with a full band set up. Their self-titled EP has upbeat pop/rock melodies that are infectious and addictive.
