The nude photos that surfaced earlier this month may have cost Rihanna her opportunity to appear on the cover of US Vogue.
According to inside sources, editor Anna Wintour approached Rihanna at the recent Met’s Costume Institute Gala in New York and offered her the prestigious cover.
“Anna told her Vogue absolutely loves her and really wanted to work with her. Rihanna was ecstatic,” a source told Star magazine.
After the photos surfaced Rihanna has not heard back from Wintour.
“Anna hasn’t returned any of her calls. Rihanna’s so upset…She hopes the people at Vogue change their minds.”
