Meet Esmée Denters, the 20-year-old pancake waitress, turned YouTube star who racked up 21 million views on posted videos of her singing hits by Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, P!nk, and Natasha Bedingfield.
The Dutch songstress caught the ear of JustinTimberlake, who signed her to his label Tenman Records, and began executive producing and co-producing the majority of her debut album. For this project they lined up an impressive list of noted songwriters and producers to collaborate on the project including Polow Da Don (Usher, Ciara), Stargate (Rihanna, Ne-Yo), OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield), and Toby Gad (Beyoncé, Fergie).
Esmée herself was even given the opportunity to co-write a majority of the songs. The result is an edgy, soulful, pop-R&B set that Esmée says truly reflects who she is as a person.
Her first single, “Outta Here” is an anthem for female empowerment through a blend of urban beats, pop lyrics, and up-tempo rock attitude. Get it here on
