If only there was a way to avoid Live Nation. It seems lately they have their hand in everything and I have to say I really hate it. I am sure I am not the only one. The latest fury I have felt for Live Nation happened this morning when I was trying to purchase New Kids On The Block tickets for the PNC Arts Center with the pre-sale. The Live Nation website blows. It’s the worst website I’ve every been on not user friendly at all. Orchestra seats are available, then not, then are, then not. It’s sucks and so does Live Nation.
Now let me get to PNC, which I hate now too. PNC doesn’t even have it’s own website anymore. WTF happened with that? I was just on it a few weeks ago. Now it is all Live Nation. In addition to all the fees that get tacked on to our ticket prices normally, PNC has added a per ticket parking fee!! So every person who buys a ticket will be paying $6 parking fee no matter what. If you are too young to drive, blind or using public transportation you are still paying $6 to park. So if you have 5 people in your car you just paid $30 to park! Paying for parking sucks, but at least when it is Izod and per car we can all split it. We need to revolt against this monopoly of ticket sales!! It makes me not want to go to any big name artists concerts!
You just said EVERYTHINg that I said the morning I bought thsoe tickets!!! I was on 2 different computers from 10 minutes before they went on sale n kept refreshing til 10… NO orchestra seats left! Are u kidding me! Ridiculous! Then before teh show I went to PNC’s website to get some info needed,….. and yeah.. NO PNC site anymore! The parking fee was just ridiculous! If you’re taking a bus to the show, you now have to pay the bus fee AND a parking fee?? WTF!!
