Rocking Under The Radar: Blameshift

“They are like nothing else I’ve heard before.” That is how I would describe Blameshift. Pairing upbeat tempos with hard-rock drumming and heavy guitar riffs, the Long Island based quartet has created a duality in their music that is definitely a force to be reckoned with. This along with the contrasting vocal stylings of talented lead vocalists, Jenny Man and Tim Barbow gives this band a unqiue sound, all their own. Songs like “F.A.K.E”  and “Sincerely, Bill Phillip’s” feature a combination of heavy drumming and guitar hooks, while keeping a heartening, fast paced rhythm that is truly unrivaled.

With their refreshing sound and relentless touring ethic, it is no wonder that this band has not only established themselves within the industry, but has also grown a large following around the country.

Blameshift is currently writing a new album expected to be released in late Spring of 2009. Get their current album The Test now on Blameshift - The Test !

  1. Promote your music through aroundtheway which is a new social network getting alot of buzz over in the NYC area. You can upload music and promote it to all the users. The site has a radio station depending on how your song is rated by the user – will determine whether your song reach radio rotation. Its just like traditional radio where whatever the people think is hot determines what the DJ’s will play..
