Today’s song is “Stay Here Tonight” by The New Portals. The Belfast duo are turning heads with their kicking electro pop. Fusing R&B piano rhythms with distorted indie riffs and hip hop beats they have created a lovely sound that would be at home on the festival circuit.
This is their newest single
following the release of the highly acclaimed single “Groove Boy”, which saw the band championed as The Guardian’s ‘New Band Of The Week’ as well as a wealth of further praise for the twesome.
This track reminds me of an 80’s pop single with its infectious dance beats and sweet vocals. It will put some light into this dark, rainy day.
