Today’s song is “Run To Me” by HOT RUMOUR. The Los Angeles group is composed of renowned producer Frankie Siragusa (bass/synth/vocals) along with brothers Aaron Ficchi (vocals/guitar/keys) and Josh Ficchi (drums/percussion). The guys came together in December 2015 with a common love for the spirit of rock and roll. They wanted to create music that embodied everything they loved about this genre.
What has been created is an impressive tune. They have flawlessly integrated the best of alt, indie, and pop rock melodies to create anthemic choruses and bombastic beats. Their music makes for an exciting listening experience.
They have been compared to artists such as Muse, the Killers, Coldplay, and AWOLnation. To me they have crafted a unique and enticing sound that hooks you on the first couple notes.
This song is off their debut EP MMXVI set to release April 29th, 2016. In support of this release the band will be embarking on a West Coast tour this summer.
