Today it was worth getting up early for fans of the band No Doubt. Coming from far and wide, they flocked in droves to Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield for a mini-concert on ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series.
Having been three years since the band’s last tour and 11 years since the band’s last song, fans were eager and enthused to see No Doubt perform arriving as as early as Wednesday earlier this week.
In promotion for their latest album Push and Shove No Doubt treated the crowd with a performance of “Settle Down,” the first single off the album. They followed up the show with three other songs from “Underneath It All,” the Talk Talk cover “It’s My Life,” and “Spiderwebs.”
No Doubt proved they can still rock. The performance was exhilarating and brought me back to my teen years. Can’t wait to see what this album has in store for us.
