I could take or leave the Super Bowl. I’m not really into sports and football is especially boring to me. However, being a music lover I was excited to see the halftime show. Last year’s performance by Lady Gaga was so awesome I was excited to see what Justin Timberlake had in store.
Unfortunately, his performance fell a little flat to some viewers. I was half listening from the kitchen making food glancing up every so often to see what was going on. It was fun listening to the old Timberlake jams but it could have been a more enthralling performance.
I thought it was cool how he went into the crowd. That act changed one kid’s life and made him go viral.
According to TwinCities.com the selfie kid is Ryan McKenna a 13-year-old seventh grader at Derby Academy in Hingham, Mass.
When Timberlake walked up the bleachers McKenna knew he had to snap a shot with the singer.
“I just thought to myself, ‘I’ll never get this opportunity again in my whole life,’” McKenna said. “I just went for it.”
Watching I was thinking if he even knew who Justin Timberlake was and a lot of other people did to because it started some funny memes.
He got his own hashtag and even an interview on Good Morning America. Pretty cool for this middle schooler.
