Today’s song is “Bright Eyes” by Vonnegutt. I first heard of Vonnegutt when I was previewing bands for Lollapalooza and was instantly hooked by their infectious mix of rock and hip-hop. Vonnegutt’s music crosses musical boundaries and can appeal to different audiences. The band is releasing their debut EP, The Appetizer on September 21st via Purple Ribbon/Favorite Gentlemen (the respective labels of Outkast’s Big Boi and Manchester Orchestra). If you’re a fan of Gym Class Heroes, B.o.B., Chester French, and Chiddy Bang, Vonnegutt is sure to please your ears.
