Where Are They From?
Fond du Lac, WI

When Did They Start? 2000

Who Are They? A three piece alternative rock/pop band from Fond du Lac, WI. The guys formed as high school students in Fond du Lac in early 2000. In 2003, they beat around 100 bands to win the “Big Gig Competition” hosted on, which led to a set opening for Sum 41 at Summerfest 2003. The same year they released their first album entitled Half Tanked. The band was picked up by Pat’s Record Label in early 2006 after a studio engineer in Madison, Wisconsin sent the out the band’s track. The trio packed up and moved to Hollywood to record their first label debut The Story Thought Over which was released in August 2007. In 2009, Verona Grove released a 6 song EP titled Away From Expected. Their song “Las Vegas Nights” charted at number 1 for 23 days on WIXX’s Top 9 at 9 in the fall/winter 2009 and their music video for “Revolution” was featured on E! News.

Why Should You Care? The interlacing of piano, electronics, and horns with guitar rock melodies creates a varied and refined sound that compliments soothing and emotional vocal harmonies. Their music features everything you want to hear some slower ballads and some funky upbeat rocking pop.
