While not drumming for Hot Chip, Rob Smoughton moonlights as Grovesnor, blending silky vocals with retro synth melodies. In anticipation of the May 25th release of his Lo Recordings solo debut Soft Return, Grovesnor is releasing a remix of his first single off Soft Return, “Taxi From The Airport” (available here).

Between touring with Hot Chip (and opening select dates), Grovesnor, originally a solo live act, will tour the UK and US with a full six-piece band in support of Soft Return later this year.
