Allstar Weekend is set to release their debut album, Suddenly, June 22 on Hollywood Records. The band’s record release show will be at The Roxy in Hollywood, California on June 24, and tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 8 at 10 AM at Ticketmaster.
Allstar Weekends current single, A Different Side of Me, has already sold nearly 100,000 tracks and is # 1 on Radio Disney. The band recently completed a Verizon-sponsored mall tour, that drew crowds upwards of 5,000 fans, and have done shows with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Forever the Sickest Kids and Emily Osment. They also performed at this year’s Bamboozle Festival, and will announce more summer tour dates shortly.
A Wal-Mart Soundcheck in-store and online campaign will begin June 15, and run through mid- July.
The band is currently hosting a Karaoke Contest on their Facebook page with a new song every two weeks. This week and next call their “SayNow number” at 858-768-0650 and sing along to “A Different Side of Me.” Two winners with the best renditions of the song will get a personal call from the boys, along with their rendition posted on Allstar Weekend’s Facebook.
