Music fans may remember brothers Ashley, Austin and Adam Clark from Fox’s 2007 reality show The Next Great American Band. The Clark Brothers, as they were called at the time, swept America off their feet, beating 10,000 other contenders for the title and scoring a recording contract with 19 Recordings/Interscope Records in the process.
Now, three years later, the band is ready for a fresh start. The band changed their name to Sons of Sylvia (in honor of their mother) and wrote over 300 songs, combining the best parts of pop, country, and rock music to create their genre-defying debut album, Revelation. The first single, pop anthem “Love Left to Lose,” was co-written by Ashley and his cousin, hitmaker and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, and will hit the radio waves this week. Check it out now on their official website. Revelation will hit stores on April 27th.
For the full Sons of Sylvia experience, make sure to check out the band on tour with Carrie Underwood as part of the Play On Tour, from now until December 19th. Visit SonsofSylvia.com for all upcoming tour details and for more information on the band.
