The SOTD is “Sweet Carrie” by Nightwaves. The brainchild of Kyle Petersen and Josh Legg, NightWaves has become known for their crisp take on nostalgic synth pop. NightWaves’ dreamy pop songs are both tropical summer daydreams and neon laced nightlife; they’re also part of Binary, the LA collective of producers making international waves as the US base of the dreamwave sound.
