Like Trains & Taxi’s debut album seems anything but a bands first full length, it conveys such emotion and truly tells a story. Tales From A Revolving Door, is like a mini movie for your soul ideal for a relaxing night after a long day.

They ease you in with “Their Eyes Were Watching God,” which relaxes you as lead singer, Chris Harris soothes you with his voice. For  surprise you with a more up tempo song for their next act. The melody of each song ushers in the next effortlessly. And each one brings with it a different emotion that fills you up until their last song, appropriately name “Epilogue” seems like a sad good-bye.

Harris’ jazz voice compliments the bands pop & indie instrumentals giving the listener a change from the same old sound heard on all the pop stations. This trio hails from New Brunswick and has only been together since 2007. Tales From A Revolving Door is being released on Tuesday, April 6th. Get it at Like Trains & Taxis now!
