Irish indie rock band Ash has a sound that will surely take you back to the 80’s in fact it is even in the title of their new song, “True Love 1980.” The band just released a video for the synthpop love anthem. The video features the band playing for your typical high school cliques: the popular kids, the brains, the stoners, and the freaks. The video has a surprise ending that you don’t see coming. “True Love 1980” was directed by Daniel Garcia and is the first single ‘A’ from the A-Z single series that comes out on Oct 12. The A-Z series is Ash’s collection of 26 limited edition 7” and digital download singles, released every two weeks over the coming year.
