Fresh off their performance on the Oceanport leg of the nationwide rock festival Van’s Warped Tour, local New Jersey band Milan will release a preview of their new album, entitled Cheesesteak In A Glass, featuring 6 tracks off their forthcoming full-length album available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and Rhapsody.
Featuring sound engineering by Plainfield native Anthony Krizan of rock band Spin Doctors fame, Cheesesteak In A Glass encapsulates the band’s self-described “Roots, Rock, Reggae with that East Coast sound” approach to popular contemporary music.
Cheesesteak In A Glass: premature release is an EP featuring new songs, and focused on capturing the energy of danceable live performance in recorded form, while bringing audiences closer to a full-fledged fusion of roots, rock, and reggae driven by highly-structured jams, solos, and lyrics reflecting contemporary social issues while remaining evocative of the “party scene.”
Upcoming Shows:
Sep 27, Milan will be performing songs from their new album, along with Marcy Playground, Nine Days, and Jimmy’s Chicken Shack at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.
