The Stone Pony is advertising a new amphitheater-type structure being built on green space next to the Asbury Park boardwalk.
The plan is to have musicians play on weekends and possibly during the week if all works out.
There is no pay, but there will be a sound system and artists will be able to put up a tip cup. It will mainly be suited for acoustic performers.
