Paramount Pictures confirmed to USMagazine.com exclusively today that Chace Crawford is set to play the lead in the Footloose remake.
“Chace Crawford will play the lead role of Ren McCormack in the film Footloose’, Paramount told US Tuesday.
I don’t understand why they are making a remake of this movie. The big appeal of the movie to me was the dancing and the great 80’s soundtrack. I don’t think that it will have the same effect if it’s set in modern day.
