Green Day’s American Idiot will be hitting the stage as a musical theatre production to kick off the 2009/2010 season for Berkeley Repertory Theater.
The production will follow the plotline of the band’s 2004 disc and has been co-written for the stage by Green Day frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong.
