For the third year in a row, music fans have the chance to be a part of the Grammy Awards through the “My Grammy Moment” contest. This year the contest winner will perform with Katy Perry.
“I am very excited to be a first-time Grammy nominee and new Recording Academy member this year, and even more thrilled to perform on music’s biggest stage in February,” Perry said about the opportunity to perform with an aspiring musician.
Now through Feb. 6, fans can upload a 30-60 second video of themselves singing along to Perry’s “Kissed a Girl” to CBS.com/Grammys. The most popular video will be part of Perry’s performance during the Grammy broadcast. The winning videos will air during Perry’s performance on the February 8th show, and the grand-prize winner gets $5,000.
The videos will be voted on by online viewers who will determine the Top Fan Video.
