Song of the Day: “Tell Me Why” by D/Wolves

Today’s song is “Tell Me Why” by D/Wolves. D/Wolves is a psychedelic pop rock group named after a fictional creature from Frank Herbert’s “God Emperor of Dune.” They formed in 2009 in San Diego, California. The band’s lyrical themes explore relationships, video game obsessions, and ghost hunting, among other things. D/Wolves has toured the west coast, and opened locally for many artists including Best Coast, Dum Dum Girls, and Yuck. The band has also been nominated for two San Diego Music Awards. This is a mellow, infectious ditty with lovable pop melodies and some grinding, gritty guitars.

Listen below and for more information check out the band’s official website, Facebook, Myspace pages. Get a FREE download of the song now at their bandcamp page.
